Healthy Eating Multiplayer Game
ROLE & IMPACT
As the Lead Unity Developer , I was responsible for the full lifecycle. I built the Single Player version (2018) and later architected the Multiplayer Expansion (2020) using a hybrid architecture.
I collaborated closely with the Cedro Technologies engineering team to integrate the game with their Proprietary Backend API . I used Photon (PUN) for real-time match synchronization and implemented Facebook Integration for social distribution.
Technical Overview
MENU is a comprehensive educational portal supported by Fundação Cargill and developed in partnership with Cedro . The project originated as a physical tabletop card game and was digitally transformed into a connected ecosystem.
I led the development of the digital phases:
1. Phase 1 (Digital Transformation): Porting the physical board game rules into a Single Player Unity application.
2. Phase 2 (Online Ecosystem): Expanding to Multiplayer using Photon PUN connected to a custom API (hosted by Cedro) to validate nutritional rules and store research data.
Implementation Highlights
Hybrid Multiplayer Architecture
Combined Photon (PUN) for real-time gameplay with Cedro's Custom Rest API for persistent data and nutritional metrics.
Full Cycle Development
Sole developer responsible for both the initial Single Player launch and the subsequent Multiplayer architecture update.
Facebook & Web Integration
Deployed the game to Facebook (Canvas/Instant) and WebGL, maximizing accessibility for students and teachers.
International Scale
Architected the localization system to support English, Spanish, and Portuguese, aiming for continental reach.
